What the Agent Launchpad is, how to create and run your first agent, and what happens when you change, pause or delete one.
What is the Agent Launchpad?
The MOI Agent Launchpad is a no-code platform for creating personal AI agents that you own on chain. You connect your MOI Wallet, pick a pre-built template, and approve one on-chain registration. From that point the agent has its own on-chain identity, acts under authority you hold, and can be paused or revoked by you at any time.
Three properties set Launchpad agents apart from hosted chatbots.
The agent's identity lives in the on-chain agent registry with you recorded as the owner. Ownership is network state anyone can verify, not a row on someone's server.
The agent is a small runtime that runs on your machine. It holds its own key and your AI key. The platform's secrets never leave the server.
You can pause, stop or delete an agent at any time, and only you can. Deleting it marks it deprecated on chain with your signature.
What can the agents do?
The Launchpad ships 10 templates. Each delivers to you privately on Telegram, and you can message any of them there once it is running.
- ๐คWeather BriefA 2-line forecast for your city, every morning.
- ๐ฐDaily Digest3 bullets on your topic, on your schedule.
- ๐ผJob Search10 fresh roles for your search, matched by AI, daily.
- ๐Grant & Bounty ScoutOpen grants, hackathons & bounties matched to what you build.
- ๐Application TrackerTrack applications, deadlines, interviews & follow-ups in one chat.
- ๐Price WatchPing when your asset crosses your line.
- ๐ฑFX RateYour currency pair, one line a day.
- โฐReminderOne message, at exactly the right time.
- ๐งญStandup BuddyAsks your plan each morning, recaps your week.
- ๐ธExpense LoggerText your spends, get a Sunday breakdown.
How is it built?
The platform separates three layers.
Who an agent is and how to find it: identity, owner, lifecycle status, reputation, and a pointer to its agent card. Permanent and verifiable.
How an agent reaches you: Telegram delivery, inbound chat and settings sync. Every request from a runtime carries a signature from the agent's own MOI key. The relay verifies it and checks the agent is registered and active before it acts.
Discovery, built on registry cards. Publish an agent and other people can subscribe, which gives them their own copy to run. Creators will be able to set a price, enforced by an on-chain payment contract. Paid listings are off while that contract is redeployed.
Create your first agent
About a minute end to end, plus the time to run one script. You need the MOI Wallet browser extension and a Telegram account.
- 01
Connect your MOI Wallet
Your wallet is your identity here. No email, no password. Install the MOI Wallet extension, unlock it, and press Connect. The site asks the wallet to sign one message. No transaction, no fee. A brand-new wallet is not an account on the network yet, so the site spots that and walks you through a free one-minute setup before signing you in.
- 02
Pick a template
Pick an agent and set it up in a few fields: what to watch, when to run, what to deliver. Give it a name. That is the whole configuration.
- 03
Approve the registration
Your wallet asks you to approve a single interaction. That writes the agent into the on-chain agent registry with your account as its owner. This is the moment authority is established: from here on the agent acts under a grant you made, and only you can take it away.
- 04
Connect Telegram
One tap links your Telegram chat to your account. The Launchpad runs one shared bot for every agent, and the recipient always comes from the platform's own records, so an agent can only ever message its owner. This step comes first on purpose: the download stays locked until the agent has somewhere to deliver.
- 05
Download the setup script and run it
Download the setup script and run the two lines the page shows you in Terminal. The script installs the agent's runtime on your machine and keeps it running in the background under a process manager, so it survives a reboot. The first time, it asks for a free AI key from console.groq.com (about a minute, no card). The key is saved on your machine and reused for every agent you install later. It is never sent to the Launchpad.
Once the runtime is up, open the Launchpad bot on Telegram and talk to your agent. Scheduled deliveries arrive on their own. Replies arrive within a few seconds once a conversation is going.
If the wallet will not connect
- Make sure the MOI Wallet extension is installed and unlocked, then reload the page. The site detects the wallet when the page loads.
- A brand-new wallet has to be registered on the network once. The connect page does this for you. If the network is still confirming, wait a few seconds and press Set up my wallet again.
- If you created your account with IOMe earlier, move your login to MOI Wallet first.
- On a phone, the site pairs with the MOI Wallet app through a QR code when that option is switched on. If the connect page tells you to use desktop, do that.
Run and control
On your machine, under a process manager, so it survives reboots. The Launchpad generates the agent's signing key when you register it, keeps an encrypted copy on the server so you can re-download the setup script, and installs it on your machine through the download you make while signed in. Deleting the agent destroys that copy. On every request to the relay the runtime signs a message with that key. The relay verifies the signature, checks the agent is registered and active, and only then delivers, replies or syncs settings.
Edit the agent from its page on the dashboard and save. A running copy picks the change up within about thirty seconds of being online, and the page confirms when it has. Copies installed before settings sync existed need one re-download: use Download updated agent next to the settings and run the script again.
Pause from the dashboard. The relay stops serving the agent, so a copy running on your machine goes quiet within a minute. You do not need to stop anything yourself. Resume brings it back.
Two things happen. First your wallet signs an owner-only on-chain status change that marks the agent deprecated in the registry, a permanent record the platform cannot write for you. Then the platform removes the agent, destroys its key material, and stops serving it. If your wallet has no KMOI for the on-chain step, the agent is still removed, and you can clear the registry entry by deleting it again later with a funded wallet.
Publish an agent from its page and it appears on the marketplace with its on-chain card. Anyone who subscribes gets their own copy, owned by them, delivering to their Telegram. Your agent and its settings stay yours. Unlist it at any time.
FAQ
Do I ever enter my seed phrase or private key on the Launchpad?
No. No Launchpad screen asks for a seed phrase or a private key, ever. The site only asks your MOI Wallet to sign. Wallet creation and custody happen inside the official MOI Wallet app. Treat any page that asks you to type a seed phrase as a scam.
Where does my agent actually run?
On your own machine. The setup script installs a small runtime that runs one agent on its schedule. It holds the agent's own signing key and your AI key. The Telegram bot token and the platform's other secrets never leave the server.
Can my agent message other people on Telegram?
No. When your agent delivers a message, the platform looks up the recipient from its own records, your linked Telegram, regardless of what the agent asks for. An agent can only ever reach its own owner.
Is the Launchpad free?
Yes. Creating and running your own agents is free. The AI calls use the free Groq key you paste at install, so there is no metered tier to run out of. Marketplace creators will be able to set a price for their agents, enforced by an on-chain payment contract. Paid listings are switched off while that contract is redeployed, so every marketplace agent is free today.
What happens when I pause or delete an agent?
Pause: the relay stops serving the agent, so a copy running on your machine goes quiet within a minute. Resume brings it back. Delete: your wallet first signs an owner-only on-chain status change that marks the agent deprecated in the registry, then the platform removes it, destroys its key material, and stops its runs. If the wallet has no KMOI for the on-chain step, the agent is still removed and you can clear the registry entry later.
I changed a setting on the dashboard. Does my running agent pick it up?
Yes. A running copy checks in with the relay and applies a settings change within about thirty seconds of being online. The dashboard tells you when the change has reached it. Copies installed before settings sync existed need one re-download, which is the Download updated agent button next to the settings.
Can I sign in from my phone?
The site pairs with the MOI Wallet app on your phone through a QR code when that option is switched on for the site. If the connect page tells you to use desktop, use the browser extension on a computer.
The Launchpad is an application built on MOI, not part of the protocol. The protocol itself is documented at docs.moi.technology, and the wallet at docs.wallet.moi.technology.
